Hey gang!
So, some fun news: This week, I’m on the podcast Project Archivist talking with hosts Roejen and Lobo about a wide selection of the weird, spooky stuff we regularly cover here on TGIMM. Project Archivist has been running since July of 2011 (a venerable institution, indeed); the show covers everything from offbeat myths and legends to classic and modern folklore and from UFOs to true crime. It’s a lot of fun — if you like your scares with a dose of humor, this one’s for you. Topics covered in the Aug. 6 episode on which I appear include Kisaragi Station, “Skinny Bob,” and various Most Dangerous Games, along with a few other bits and bobs.
I’m, uh, not great at extemporaneous public speaking — it’s much scarier to me than any ghoulie, ghostie, or long-legged beastie could ever be (and yes, I am aware that my standard talking speed is way too fast) — so… be gentle with me. But many thanks to Roejen and Lobo not only for inviting me on the show in the first place, but being absolutely delightful to chat with; I had a ton of fun recording the episode.
